7.1 All delivery times quoted at the time of order are estimated and so cannot be guaranteed. Whilst we will make every effort to deliver within the estimated delivery time, occasionally deliveries may be affected by factors beyond our control. We will deliver to the delivery address stated in the Order and confirmed by us in the Order Confirmation. Should you wish to change the delivery address from the address given in the Order and confirmed by us in the Order Confirmation then you must have notified us and have obtained our agreement in writing to any change in delivery address prior to any delivery taking place.

7.2 We will contact you where applicable to arrange delivery and to ensure that full payment has been made prior to your Order being delivered. We will offer you an initial delivery slot but if this is not acceptable we will offer you a maximum of two reasonable alternatives. We reserve the right to charge a storage charge in the event you do not reasonably accept delivery. If you are not going to accept delivery yourself, you must notify us in advance of the nominated adult who will take delivery.

7.3 Goods will be delivered to Mainland Britain and Northern Ireland only.

7.4 A delivery charge will apply on all orders. The amount is variable depending on the Order and is made clear at the point of Order, and will be contained on our Order Confirmation. Unfortunately we are not able to arrange for collection of Goods from our distribution centres on sales processed through our site.

7.5 Where you have ordered multiple Goods from us we may need to make more than one delivery to you. This is particularly the case where Goods are delivered directly from the supplier on specialist transport. Where this is necessary we will not charge you extra delivery costs for this. If you ask us to deliver the Order in instalments, we may charge you extra delivery costs.

7.6 Delivery of the Order shall be completed when we deliver the Goods to you.

7.7 We do not hold or store Goods, therefore if you fail to accept the reasonable delivery dates offered to you, then, except where this failure is caused by our failure to comply with these terms and conditions or by an event beyond our control;

(a) We will store the Goods until delivery takes place and may charge you a reasonable sum currently £25 per week to cover expenses

Any such charges must be cleared before delivery will take place.

7.8 Clause 7.7 will not apply where the Goods are available before the delivery date detailed in the Order Confirmation or as agreed with you where you have stipulated a “not before date” on your Order, and which has been confirmed on the Order Confirmation.

7.9 It is essential that you notify us of any possible restrictions to access into your home when placing your Order so that we can perform a risk assessment. In particular you should consider vehicle access, lifts, staircases and room access. Should windows or doors need to be removed to allow access, it is your responsibility to arrange this at your own cost and at your own risk.

7.10 We recommend that you do not dispose of your existing furniture until one day prior to your confirmed delivery date.

7.11 We deliver only to the first floor of any house/apartment block, except when arranged separately within the Order and confirmed in the Order Confirmation. Any such arrangement may incur an additional charge that we shall advise to you.

7.12 You must ensure that you or a nominated adult with (if we so request in order to prevent fraudulent activity) appropriate ID (driving licence or passport) are available on the day and the point of delivery to sign for the Goods.

7.13 You must also ensure that on the day of delivery access to your preferred location of the Goods is clear and free of any obstruction. If you or a nominated adult are not available or the access is not clear and free of any obstruction, then we will not deliver your Goods. This will result in a re-delivery of your Goods and a further delivery charge will be levied.

            7.14 Goods intended to be assembled by you will not be unpacked at the point of delivery.

7.15 We do not accept any responsibility for damage to your property during delivery other than damage due to our negligence when our liability is limited to the repair of that damage with no element of betterment.

8. Title and risk

8.1 The Goods will be your responsibility from the time of delivery.

8.2 Ownership of the Goods will only pass to you when we receive payment in full of all sums due for the Goods, including delivery charges.

 

How to Measure Up

Below are some tips to help you with choosing furniture that fits perfectly in the space that you have available. If you find yourself confused or looking for some assistance, our sales advisors are always happy to help on the phone - 0844 847 2626.

Top 5 tips to getting the right furniture for you!

· Decide exactly where you would like to place your furniture.

· Measure the area where you want to place your furniture.

· Sketch a rough plan including dimensions.

· Note the width, height, and depth of the model you want to order, do allow a few inches for tolerance.

· You should now be able to see whether or not the furniture will fit within your living space.

Getting Through Your Access Points

· Ensure all widths and diagonal depths of your new furniture measures less than the dimensions of your homes entry points e.g. doors, side gates, hallways and stairways etc.

· If your existing furniture came in easily, compare the measurements with the model you want to replace it with.

· The diagonal height should be less than the entryway you are planning to use.

· Measure width and height of all doorways, hallways, and stairways, remembering to take into account unmovable objects such as banisters and turns.

· Remember obstacles such as radiators, and lights on walls and ceilings.

Homes with limited access points

Not all of Harveys furniture will arrive in its fully completed format, so if your home has limited access, then there will be some ranges that can be built in situ. Some sofas come in 2 or even 3 parts and the same for dining table and chair sets. This will be noted in the bullet point list next to the product image.

Note – This serves only as a guide and doesn’t guarantee furniture will fit. Please consider all access points from our delivery truck to the room of your choice. Also please do let us know if you foresee any problems with our delivery vehicles getting down your street.

Rated 1 out of 5 by poor sofa quality Had the sofa a year but only used for 6 months. The leather looks old and baggy and the inserts in the middle of the cushions has come unstuck. Obviously Harvey's will say its wear and tear but its neither worn and torn. Apparently it reflects the finest in contemporary design and comfort, every piece in this exclusive leather collection is beautifully handcrafted....don't think so. 08 April 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sofa is lovely, very conmfortable. Was a spur of the moment purchase when looking in the shop at something else, so other than being asked if the house had standard size doors i certainly didnt measure. Read the other reviews afterwards and was dreading it turning up today... But thanks to extremely helpful delivery guys and my neighbours agreeing to us trudging through their garden to take over the fence, it is in and looking great. Unless you have very wide doorways it wont go in the house... 13 March 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sorry I didn't read other peoples reviews before ordering this suite, received yesterday still in wrappers, as the delivery men could not get it through either my front door (admittedly their is a sharp corner to another door) and neither my kitchen / lounge door. I should have double checked it would have gone through but who would you ask? Sales person did not advise me that they also sell this as a 3 section sofa, otherwise I would have paid the extra for this. As it is, I am having to pay a cost of approx £100 to have this demantled - put into lounge & re-assembled. Other option was send it back and the shop would give me my money back less 20%. Please double check before purchasing. 22 February 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by A Fantastic product let down by the people who sell it i was assured in three pieces this would fit through a 39 inch wide front door but no Even after asking a second time prior to paying it arrived and the delivery men were great told me straight away this would not fit (why did the sales man not know this at the shop The delivery men took it round the back I removed the sliding door of my patio door and in it went thanks to there hard work please be aware this product in three pieces still needs you to remove your patio door it will not fit through a nomal door space but comfortable and good quality once in place 08 February 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 After being advised by the store about the difficulty of delivering this product we measured and measured and decided that the 2 piece would fit. On the day of delivery the 'helpful' delivery guys advised it wouldn't fit through our front door. I asked them to bring it round the back to our french doors but he refused saying it certainly wouldn't fit through our interior doors either. So they loaded it on the van and left us without a sofa. My husband called the store and asked for re-delivery a few days later. Luckily 2 other delivery guys turned up, brought it round the back and it fitted like a glove. Looks amazing in our living room, good quality and we are very pleased - just in time for Christmas. Please do not let the delivery guys give up too easily with this product. Try all options possible if they insist it won't fit. 08 February 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 Please be careful with this product no matter what the salesperson says do not get the 2 piece corner sofa !!!! Make sure you get it in a 3 pieces . It will not go in any normal door frame as is way too wide and Harveys will not help, they take your money and run!! The delivery men damaged our brand new kitchen and the fence is smashed to bits . We have to PAY EXTRA to get an upholsterer to take it to bits to get it in ! Never again ! 14 December 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by Please be aware that this corner suite, even in 3 pieces rarely goes through the average front door and to change your order once delivery is attempted costs hundreds of pounds. Please ask the salesperson for the actual dimensions that need to fit through the door, as unlike a sofa which has arms, this piece is a solid square to go through the gap. 11 July 2011

The 3 diffrent types of leather is:

Classic (CS) Leather Category 10
Bovine (BV) Leather Category 10
Miami Buffalo (MB) Category 20

The classic is the cheaper leather then the bovine is £50 more and the miami buffalo is £100 more.
