Dining room furniture 'can be centre of attention this Christmas'

Change dining room furniture for 'funky new update'

There are plenty of ways to spice up the appearance of dining room furniture.

Preparing a home for the festive season may be a priority for many people, especially those who are set to host a number of dinners and parties, so getting the dining room furniture right is essential.

Helen Green, author of the blog on terrysfabrics.co.uk, says there are a number of things homeowners can do to their furniture to make it look its best in time for December 25th.

Firstly, adding some "stunning" table decor, such as glass candlesticks, is a good move, as is installing some sparkle in the form of gold accents.

"Traditional and elegant with statement black dinnerware, gold Christmas decorations add a touch of green foliage to dress the table or a mantel," Ms Green states.

As well as focusing on dining room furniture, she suggests giving curtains an overhaul, perhaps by attaching gold tassels.

The author recently advised people to use their Christmas tree as a focal point within their home.ADNFCR-2589-ID-800238083-ADNFCR
