Interiors expert Louise Short said updating sleeping areas can be a simple and inexpensive process provided individuals make a few adjustments, QMI Agency reports.
Bed frames can be boosted by adding hanging wall art above the headboard, she remarked, as long as it brings out the colour schemes used throughout the room.
Investing in a bed skirt will also pay dividends, she commented, commenting: "You don't want to see under the bed or the bed frame."
Would-be decorators were also told to switch their bedding in line with seasonal changes, with earthy winter tones making way for bright shades in the summer.
