Bedroom furniture can be part of stylish autumn space

Extra bedroom furniture can show buyers a home is capable of sleeping more people than may be initially apparent.

Red, gold and green are among the colours to use for an autumn feel.

People hoping to use their bedroom furniture in a stylish way to express the feel of autumn have been advised on which colours they should add to it.

Terrysfabrics.co.uk's writer Helen Green suggests a range of shades that will reflect the changing seasons.

"With autumn on the horizon, now is a good time to start thinking about the possibilities of colour change and to look at the hues that will set the scene in the autumn home," she states.

Among the author's first suggestions is a red and gold theme, which matches the alteration in the colour of the leaves outdoors.

She goes on to note duck egg blue and warm browns and greens as other tones that should ensure an attractive space at this time of year.

Ms Green's recent tips include the addition of wood, which she said is available to people with any budget, to the kitchen.
